JEE Mains Result - 10 things to know with detail
- 1. JEE Mains Result Date: The JEE Mains Result is usually announced in the first week of May for the January session and the first week of June for the April session.
- 2. Checking JEE Mains Result: Candidates can check their JEE Mains Result on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) by entering their application number and date of birth.
- 3. All India Rank (AIR): The JEE Mains Result includes the All India Rank (AIR) of the candidates, which is used for admission to various engineering colleges in India.
- 4. Qualifying Cut-off: The JEE Mains Result also includes the qualifying cut-off marks for each category (General, OBC, SC, ST) to determine whether a candidate has cleared the exam or not.
- 5. Scorecard: Along with the JEE Mains Result, candidates can also download their scorecard which includes their subject-wise marks and overall percentile.
- 6. Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case two or more candidates have the same score in JEE Mains, the tie-breaking criteria is used to determine their ranking based on factors like marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and age of the candidate.
