JEE Advanced Result - 10 things to know with detail
- 1. Background: JEE Advanced is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to various undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and science.
- 2. Results Date: The JEE Advanced result is usually declared in the month of June. The exact date is announced by the organizing IIT after the completion of the exam.
- 3. Mode of Declaration: The JEE Advanced result is declared online on the official website of the exam. Candidates can log in using their registration number and password to check their result.
- 4. Scorecard: The JEE Advanced result includes the score obtained by the candidate in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the exam. It also includes the qualifying status of the candidate for admission.
- 5. All India Rank (AIR): Along with the scorecard, candidates are also assigned an All India Rank based on their performance in the exam. The AIR is used for seat allocation and counseling process.
- 6. Category-wise Rank: In addition to the AIR, candidates are also assigned a category-wise rank based on their performance in their respective category (General, OBC, SC, ST).
