Randy Moss was born on February 13, 1977 in Rand, West Virginia.
He attended Marshall University where he played college football before being drafted in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.
Moss burst onto the scene in his rookie season, setting an NFL record for most touchdown receptions by a rookie with 17.
He played for the Vikings from 1998 to 2004, establishing himself as one of the most dominant wide receivers in the league.
Moss was known for his incredible speed, athleticism, and ability to make acrobatic catches.
In 2007, Moss was traded to the New England Patriots, where he set the record for most touchdown receptions in a single season with 23.
Moss also had stints with the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers during his 14-year NFL career.
He was a six-time Pro Bowl selection and a four-time First Team All-Pro.
Moss retired from the NFL in 2012 with 982 receptions, 15,292 receiving yards, and 156 touchdown catches.
In 2018, Moss was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.
