Sue Bird is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Seattle Storm in the WNBA.
She was born on October 16, 1980 in Syosset, New York.
Bird attended the University of Connecticut, where she played for the women's basketball team and won two NCAA Championships in 2000 and 2002.
She was selected first overall in the 2002 WNBA Draft by the Seattle Storm.
Bird is a four-time WNBA champion, winning titles with the Storm in 2004, 2010, 2018, and 2020.
She is a 12-time WNBA All-Star and has been named to the All-WNBA First Team multiple times.
