Tom Daley is a British diver who has competed in multiple Olympic Games. He first gained international attention when he competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics at just 14 years old.
Daley has won numerous medals in major diving competitions, including two Olympic bronze medals in the individual 10m platform event (2012 and 2016).
In addition to his Olympic success, Daley has also won gold medals at the World Championships, Commonwealth Games, and European Championships.
Daley is known for his impressive dives, including the difficult and high-scoring reverse 3 1/2 somersaults in the pike position.
Outside of diving, Daley has also gained a following for his YouTube channel, where he posts videos about his training, competitions, and personal life.
Daley is openly gay and has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. He married his husband, Dustin Lance Black, in 2017 and they have a son together.
In 2021, Daley won his first Olympic gold medal in the synchronized 10m platform event at the Tokyo Olympics, alongside his diving partner Matty Lee.
Daley has been a member of the British diving team since he was a teenager and has been coached by top diving coaches, including Andy Banks and Jane Figueiredo.
Daley has also dabbled in other projects outside of diving, such as appearing on reality TV shows, writing a book, and launching his own diving academy.
