• AP EAMCET stands for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
• AP EAMCET is conducted for admission into various undergraduate courses in the field of Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical in the colleges and universities of Andhra Pradesh.
• The exam is usually held in the month of April every year. The official notification for AP EAMCET 2024 is expected to be released in February 2024, with the exam scheduled to be conducted in April 2024.
• The exam pattern for AP EAMCET consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted in online mode. The question paper is divided into three sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for Engineering) or Biology (for Agriculture and Medical).
• The duration of the exam is 3 hours for Engineering students and 3.5 hours for Agriculture and Medical students.
• To be eligible for AP EAMCET 2024, candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as subjects.
