  • The NEET result is usually declared within a month of the exam. Candidates can check their results on the official NTA website using their login credentials.
  • The NEET result is displayed in the form of a scorecard, which includes the candidate's name, roll number, category, marks obtained in each subject, total marks, and percentile score.
  • The NEET result also includes the candidate's All India Rank (AIR) and category-wise rank. This rank is used for admission to medical and dental colleges across India.
  • To qualify in NEET, candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks as specified by the NTA. For general category candidates, the minimum qualifying marks is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is 40th percentile.
  • In addition to the minimum qualifying marks, candidates must also meet the eligibility criteria set by the respective state or central counseling authorities for admission to medical colleges.
  • After the NEET result is declared, candidates are required to participate in the counseling process conducted by the respective authorities for admission to medical colleges.
  • The NEET result is valid for one year only, i.e., candidates can use their NEET score for admission to medical colleges in the same year in which they appeared for the exam.
  • Candidates can also apply for revaluation of their NEET result if they are not satisfied with their scores. However, the revaluation process involves a fee and is subject to certain conditions.
  • It is important for candidates to regularly check the official NTA website and other relevant sources for updates on the NEET result, counseling process, and admission procedures to ensure a smooth transition to medical college.
