• NET exam in 2024 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), as it has been since 2018.

• Admit cards for the exam will be released a few weeks before the exam date and candidates will have to download them from the official website.
• Results for the exam will be announced within a few weeks of the exam date and candidates can check their results on the official website.
• Qualified candidates will be eligible for recruitment as Assistant Professors or for Junior Research Fellowship in various universities and research institutions across India.
