The Grand Canal is a major waterway in Venice, Italy. It is the main waterway of the city, and is lined with beautiful buildings and churches. The canal is over 3 kilometers long and is lined with more than 170 buildings, including the famous Rialto Bridge. It is a popular tourist destination, and is often used for gondola rides. The canal is also home to many of Venice's most important landmarks, such as the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica.
