Miyajima Island

Miyajima Island, also known as Itsukushima, is a small island located in the Inland Sea of Japan, just off the coast of Hiroshima. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan, and is known for its beautiful natural scenery, its iconic red torii gate, and its many historical shrines and temples. The island is home to the Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is also home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, monkeys, and birds. The island is accessible by ferry from the mainland, and visitors can explore the island's many attractions, including the Itsukushima Shrine, the Daisho-in Temple, and the Momijidani Park.
