Kanazawa Castle is a large, historic castle located in Kanazawa, Japan. It was originally built in 1583 by the Maeda clan, who were the rulers of the Kaga Domain. The castle is surrounded by a large park and is a popular tourist attraction. The castle is made up of several buildings, including the main keep, the Ninomaru Palace, and the Hashizume-mon Gate. The main keep is a five-story building with a large, white roof and is the symbol of Kanazawa. The Ninomaru Palace is a large, two-story building with a beautiful garden and is the former residence of the Maeda clan.
