Wat Chalong
Wat Chalong is one of the most important and revered Buddhist temples in Phuket, Thailand. Located in the Chalong area of the island, the temple is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. The temple complex is made up of several buildings, including a large main hall, a chedi (stupa), and several smaller shrines. Inside the main hall, visitors can find a large golden Buddha statue, as well as many other statues and artifacts. Outside, there is a large garden with a pond, and a number of smaller shrines. Wat Chalong is also home to a number of festivals throughout the year, including the annual Vegetarian Festival.
