Castel dell'Ovo

Castel dell'Ovo is a medieval castle located on the former island of Megaride, now a peninsula, in the Gulf of Naples, Italy. It is the oldest standing fortification in Naples and is believed to have been built around the 1st century BC. The castle is located in the center of the city, overlooking the sea and the port of Naples. It is a popular tourist attraction and is home to a number of museums and cultural events.
