Botanical Garden of Pisa

The Botanical Garden of Pisa is a botanical garden located in the city of Pisa, Italy. It is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Europe, having been founded in 1544 by Cosimo I de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany. The garden is located in the historic center of Pisa, near the University of Pisa and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It covers an area of about 5 hectares and is home to a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs from all over the world. The garden also houses a herbarium, a library, and a laboratory for research. The garden is open to the public and offers guided tours and educational activities.
