Metropol Parasol is a wooden structure located in the Plaza de la Encarnación in Seville, Spain. It was designed by the German architect Jürgen Mayer and completed in April The structure is composed of six parasols, each measuring 150 feet in height and covering an area of 11,000 square meters. The parasols are arranged in a way that creates a large public space underneath, which is used for a variety of activities, including markets, concerts, and exhibitions. The structure also features a panoramic elevator, which takes visitors to the top of the parasols for a view of the city. Metropol Parasol is one of the most iconic landmarks in Seville and a popular tourist attraction.
