Wat Chedi Luang

Wat Chedi Luang is a Buddhist temple located in the old city of Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is one of the most important temples in the city and is believed to have been built in the 14th century. The temple is home to a large, ornate chedi (stupa) which is the main attraction of the temple. The chedi is said to contain the ashes of the former King of Chiang Mai, Saen Muang Ma. The temple also contains several other structures, including a large viharn (assembly hall), a library, and a number of smaller chedis. The temple is a popular tourist destination and is often used as a backdrop for traditional Thai ceremonies.
