Royal Pavilion

The Royal Pavilion is a former royal residence located in the city of Brighton and Hove in the United Kingdom. It was built in three stages, beginning in 1787 as a modest Regency villa for the Prince of Wales, later King George IV. The palace was extended and remodeled in both the Indian and Chinese styles in the 19th century. The Royal Pavilion is now a Grade I listed building and is open to the public as a museum and art gallery. The palace is a stunning example of the exotic and opulent architecture of the Regency period, with its domes, minarets, and ornate interiors. The interior is decorated with Chinese and Indian-inspired furnishings, including a throne room, a banqueting hall, and a music room. The gardens surrounding the palace are also a popular attraction, with their ornamental lakes, fountains, and sculptures.
