History
Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is one of the most beautiful cities in the United Kingdom. It is a city steeped in history, with a rich cultural heritage that dates back to the 12th century. Geography
Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and is located in the south-east of the country. It is situated on the Firth of Forth, a large estuary that separates the Scottish Lowlands from the Highlands. The city is divided into two parts, the Old Town and the New Town, which are separated by Princes Street Gardens.
