Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb

Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb is a Mughal mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built between 1622 and 1628 by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his father-in-law, Mirza Ghiyas Beg, who was also known as Itimad-ud-Daulah. The tomb is often referred to as the "Jewel Box" or the "Baby Taj" due to its intricate marble inlay work and its resemblance to the Taj Mahal. The tomb is set in a walled garden and is surrounded by four minarets. The interior of the tomb is decorated with marble inlay work, floral motifs, and calligraphy. The cenotaphs of Itimad-ud-Daulah and his wife, Asmat Begum, are located in the center of the tomb. The tomb is a popular tourist attraction and is considered to be one of the most beautiful Mughal monuments in India.
