Castlefield

Castlefield is a historic area of Manchester, United Kingdom, located to the south of the city centre. It is a conservation area, and is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Roman fort of Mamucium, the Bridgewater Canal, and the world's first railway viaduct. The area is also home to a number of bars, restaurants, and other attractions, making it a popular destination for visitors to the city. The area is also home to a number of events throughout the year, including the Castlefield Summer Festival and the Castlefield Artisan Market.
