Navy Pier

Navy Pier is a 3,300-foot-long (1,006 m) pier on the Chicago shoreline of Lake Michigan. It is located in the Streeterville neighborhood of the Near North Side community area. Navy Pier is one of the most visited attractions in the entire Midwest, attracting over 8 million visitors annually. It is the top leisure destination in the Midwest, with more than 50 acres of parks, gardens, shops, restaurants, family attractions and exhibition facilities. Navy Pier features a 150-foot-tall Ferris wheel, a musical carousel, an 18-hole miniature golf course, a wave swinger, a swing ride, and a variety of other rides and attractions. The pier also hosts a variety of seasonal events, including the Chicago Flower & Garden Show, the Chicago Air & Water Show, the Venetian Night fireworks display, and the Chicago Children's Museum. Navy Pier also features a variety of restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, including the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, the Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows, and the Chicago Children's Museum.
