Rotunda of Galerius
The Rotunda of Galerius is a large circular building located in Thessaloniki, Greece. It was built in the early 4th century AD by the Roman Emperor Galerius as a mausoleum and memorial to himself. The Rotunda is a domed structure with a diameter of almost 25 meters and a height of almost 30 meters. It is made of brick and is decorated with marble and mosaics. Inside, there is a large central dome surrounded by four smaller domes. The interior is decorated with marble and mosaics depicting scenes from the life of Galerius. The Rotunda is one of the most important monuments of the city and is a popular tourist attraction.
