Bolgatty Palace
Bolgatty Palace is a historical palace located on the Bolgatty Island in Kochi, India. It is one of the oldest existing Dutch palaces outside Holland. The palace was built by the Dutch in 1744 and was later extended and renovated in 1909 by the Maharaja of Cochin. It is now a heritage hotel run by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation. The palace features Dutch-style architecture, with a large central courtyard surrounded by four wings. The palace also has a swimming pool, a nine-hole golf course, and a small marina. The palace is a popular tourist destination, offering a range of activities such as boat rides, fishing, and sightseeing.
