Mattancherry Palace
Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, is a palace located in Kochi, India. It was built by the Portuguese in 1557 and presented to the Raja of Kochi, Veera Kerala Varma. The palace was renovated in 1663 by the Dutch. The palace features a Hindu temple, murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana, and other exhibits of royal possessions. The palace is a popular tourist attraction in Kochi, and is known for its architecture, which combines Portuguese, Dutch, and traditional Kerala styles.
