Lake Pichola
Lake Pichola is a beautiful lake located in the city of Udaipur, India. It is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD by a local Banjara tribal chieftain. The lake is surrounded by hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and embankments. It is the main source of water supply to the city of Udaipur. The lake is home to two island palaces, Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir, which are now luxury heritage hotels.
