Ramnagar Fort
Ramnagar Fort is a historical fort situated in the eastern part of Varanasi, India. It is located near the Ganges River on its eastern bank, opposite to the Tulsi Ghat. The fort was built in the 18th century by Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh and is still in possession of the former royal family. The fort is a typical example of Mughal and Rajput architecture, with its red sandstone walls and grand gateways. Inside the fort, there are several temples, including the Durga Temple, Hanuman Temple, and Vishwanath Temple. The fort also houses a museum, which displays a collection of rare coins, manuscripts, and weapons. The fort is a popular tourist destination and is also used for cultural events and festivals.
