Achilleion Palace is a palace located in Corfu, Greece. It was built in 1890 by Empress Elizabeth of Austria, also known as Sisi, as a summer retreat. The palace was designed in the style of an ancient Greek temple and is surrounded by lush gardens and a large park. The palace is named after the Greek hero Achilles and features many statues and paintings of him.
