Valluvar Kottam
Valluvar Kottam is a popular monument and landmark in Chennai, India. It is dedicated to the classical Tamil poet and saint Thiruvalluvar. The monument is shaped like a temple chariot and is 33 meters tall. It is located at the intersection of the Kodambakkam High Road and the Village Road in Chennai. The monument is surrounded by a large auditorium which can accommodate up to 4,000 people. The auditorium is used for cultural programs and public meetings. The monument also houses a 101-foot-high stone sculpture of Thiruvalluvar, which is the tallest such sculpture in the world. The monument also has a library and a research center dedicated to the works of Thiruvalluvar.
