Delphi Treasury
Delphi Treasury is an ancient Greek temple located in Delphi, Greece. It was built in the 6th century BC and is dedicated to Apollo, the god of music, prophecy, and healing. The temple was used as a treasury for the Delphic Amphictyony, a religious organization that controlled the sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi. The temple is made of limestone and marble and is decorated with sculptures and reliefs depicting the gods and heroes of Greek mythology. The temple is also home to the famous Oracle of Delphi, a priestess who was consulted by ancient Greeks for advice and prophecy. The Delphi Treasury is a popular tourist attraction and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
