Tholos of Athena Pronaia
The Tholos of Athena Pronaia is a circular temple located in the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia in Delphi, Greece. It was built in the 4th century BC and is one of the most impressive monuments in the sanctuary. The temple is made of limestone and has a diameter of 5 meters. It is supported by 20 Doric columns, 10 of which are still standing. Inside the temple is a circular chamber with a conical roof. The temple was dedicated to the goddess Athena and was used as a place of worship and contemplation. The Tholos of Athena Pronaia is a great example of ancient Greek architecture and is a popular tourist attraction in Delphi.
