Jantar Mantar
Jantar Mantar is an 18th-century astronomical observatory located in Delhi, India. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur in The observatory consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments, including the world's largest stone sundial. The primary purpose of the observatory was to compile astronomical tables, and to predict the times and movements of the sun, moon and planets. The observatory is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is one of five built by Jai Singh II, the others being located in Jaipur, Varanasi, Ujjain and Mathura.
