Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas Monastery
Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas Monastery is a Greek Orthodox monastery located in the Meteora region of Greece. It is one of the six monasteries that make up the Meteora complex. The monastery was founded in the 14th century and is perched atop a sandstone rock pillar. It is accessible by a steep staircase carved into the rock. The monastery is known for its stunning views of the surrounding landscape and its unique architecture. Inside the monastery, visitors can explore the chapel, the refectory, and the cells of the monks. The monastery also houses a museum with artifacts from the Byzantine era.
