Meteora Monasteries
Meteora Monasteries are a group of Eastern Orthodox monasteries located in the region of Meteora in central Greece. The monasteries are built on top of natural sandstone rock pillars, which rise from the plains of Thessaly and are surrounded by breathtaking views of the Pindus Mountains.
