St. Stephen's Monastery
St. Stephen's Monastery is a Greek Orthodox monastery located in the Meteora region of Greece. It is one of the six monasteries that make up the Meteora complex, and is the oldest of the monasteries, having been founded in the 14th century. The monastery is perched atop a large rock formation, and is accessible only by a long staircase carved into the rock. Inside the monastery, visitors can explore the many chapels, frescoes, and artifacts that make up the complex.
