How to make Chole Bhature?
- Ingredients:

- -2 cups of white chickpeas (chole)
- -1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- -1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- -1 teaspoon of garam masala
- -1 teaspoon of red chilli powder
- -1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- -1 teaspoon of amchur powder
- -1 teaspoon of dry mango powder
- -1 teaspoon of black pepper powder
- -1 teaspoon of cumin powder
- -1 teaspoon of ajwain
- -1 teaspoon of salt
- -1 teaspoon of sugar
- -2 tablespoons of oil
- -1 onion, chopped
- -2 tomatoes, chopped
- -2 green chillies, chopped
- -2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- -1 inch piece of ginger, chopped
- -1 cup of water
- -2 cups of all-purpose flour
- -1 teaspoon of baking powder
- -1 teaspoon of baking soda
- -Oil for deep frying

- Instructions:

- Soak the white chickpeas overnight in water.
- Drain the chickpeas and pressure cook them with 1 cup of water for 3-4 whistles.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies, garlic and ginger and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add all the dry spices and mix well.
- Add the cooked chickpeas and mix well.
- Add 1 cup of water and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Add enough water to make a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan for deep frying.
- Dip a spoonful of the batter in the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown.
- Serve hot with the chole.
